Can I borrow the necessary equipment at the event?
At each office golf event the necessary equipment is provided for all participants . We always take care of enough golf clubs and balls. As a participant, you do not have to worry about anything.

Do participants need prior knowledge?
Anybody can do it. Golf professionals and beginners have the same opportunities. As a player you have to adapt to the circumstances, the ground and the obstacles at each course and hole.

What are the minimum and maximum number of participants at an office golf event?
In a classic 9-hole course, the minimum group size amounts to 20 people. This group size allows the formation of the desired group dynamics. A maximum of 100 players can participate at this kind of office golfing. It is also possible to align events for larger groups. In this case the course will be extend by more holes or another course.

What rooms and buildings are suitable for office golf?
Basically all premises which provide ample space for the planned number of people and possibilities for a varied game. So far we have been played  in many hotels, office centers and even on board of the Saxon Steamship. Under Venues you will find the places listed, where  Office golf tournaments took place.

Does Office golf online arrange events elsewhere in Germany?
We organize events for our clients Germany-wide. Our goal is to create an unforgettable event (incentive, office party, client event, etc.) in your office building or at a special venue of our choice.

What does an evening with Office golf cost?
Due to the high individuality of the events, it is not possible to provide a standard list price. The prices vary for an event so the number of participants, location and additional booked components. On request, we will gladly submit an offer.

Can anything be broken or damaged through Office golfing?
At Office golfing will be putted only without a large tee. Until now neither property nor personal injury have been caused by Office golfing.

How long does a tournament take?
The event duration depends on the number of participants.
In general, the timing is set up as follows:
- Opening (15 minutes)
- Tournament (1.5 - 2 hours)
- Award Ceremony (approx. 15 minutes)

Rules of the Game

The Tournament Committee will arrange the Office golfing teams, called Flights. The order within each Flights will be decided by the flight commander at the first hole. Then the account of participant's strokes decides on the order, the player with the least strokes starts.
The number of strokes will be recorded and noted on the scorecard.
The ball may touch the putter, the ground and the hole only.

Any accidental contact of the ball with walls, doors, furniture (including curtains and plants), will be charged with one penalty point.
Intentional band playing leads to two penalty points. The penalty points will be added to the respective strokes.
The ball may touch cables and carpet edges. The score has to be pronounced before noting down. (loud counting is a plus). Each player has 8 strokes per hole.
If the ball does not hit the target with 8 strokes, 9 strokes will be registered.
Obstacle / placing the ball: When the ball gets into a hard- reached placement, it can be moved away scot-free. It should not be placed closer to the hole than the ball was before, and neither to advantage nor disadvantage of the player.
The flight commander decides on the particular distance (30cm).
At the end of the course, the strokes will be summarized.
The player with the least strokes wins. In case of a tie, the game goes on to make a the decision between the participants.
The payer has to follow the flight commander’s instructions.
